Plantation seminar

Under "Plant for Pakistan drive 2024" an awareness walk regarding tree plantation held on March 19 at Govt Associate college (w), Rakh chabeel. Dr. Sharqa Hashmi, Principal while leading the walk, highlight the importance of  tree plantation. All the feculty members and students enthusiastically participated in the walk.

On March 20, Govt Associate college (w) Rakh chabeel organized a seminar "Importance of tree plantation". The seminar aimed to enlighten staff and students about the connection between tree planting, safeguarding life and the rising issue of global warming. Students and teachers actively participated in the seminar.  The speaker, Mrs. Saba Saleem emphasized that planting trees is a dire necessity. Trees act as carbon capturing machine, support biodiversity and maintain temperature. Principal, Dr. Sharqa Hashmi in the closing remarks urged everyone to plant saplings and engage in afforestation and reforestation efforts to mitigate the impact of global warming.
